Material specification

GfE Vanadium Pentoxide ground, high purity grade

Also known as GfE article no. 2008 599

Held because of what it proves. Its five chemical limits are IDENTICAL to the high purity grade and its grade name is the same word. It is nevertheless a different specification, under a different article number and document version, because its physical requirement is different: d(90) below 50 micrometres rather than below 1 millimetre. A grade name plus a chemistry does not identify a specification.

What Lithoen records

Each claim states how it is known and cites its evidence.

EstablishedIdentical: V2O5 ≥99.9; V2O4 ≤0.6; Na, K, Fe ≤0.01 each. Different: d(90) ≤50 micrometres against particle size ≤1 mm. Different article numbers, different document versions, different packaging.

Reported for this deposit

Two of this producer's documents agree on every chemical limit and on the grade name 'High purity', and are still different specifications: article 2008 599 requires d(90) below 50 micrometres where article 2008 582 requires only that particles be below 1 millimetre. A grade name and a chemistry together do not identify a specification.

EstablishedSite attribution: NOT ESTABLISHED. Place appearing on the product literature: Höfener Str. 45, 90431 Nürnberg — a contact address. Strongest independent site statement found: a regulator's record of vanadium-extraction plants at that street, dated 19 May 2023, naming no product and no grade. Channels searched on 17 September 2026: producer product pages and a public German environmental-procedure register. Not recovered from those channels on that date; this is not a statement that no such document exists.

Reported for this deposit

No source read places this graded article at a production site. The producer's data sheet prints Höfener Str. 45, 90431 Nürnberg in a contact block, beside a telephone number, a named contact person and a website, and states nothing about where the article is made. The producer's own vanadium chemicals page names no production location for any of its vanadium products and refers only to «our production». A 2023 regulator record separately places plants for the extraction of vanadium at that same street, which establishes an activity at an installation and not the manufacture of this article there. The two facts are not joined by any document read, and joining them would be this corpus's inference rather than a source's statement.
