Material
Germanium–indium dross
The dross obtained by thermal oxidation of the New Jersey process by-product alloy, assayed at 28.7 per cent tin, 18.0 lead, 10.6 copper, 8.9 germanium, 8.1 zinc and 2.7 indium. Germanium is present here at a concentration no ore approaches, which is the whole reason byproduct intelligence is process-stream intelligence rather than deposit intelligence.

What Lithoen records
Each claim states how it is known and cites its evidence.
EstablishedDross assay: Sn 28.7, Pb 18.0, Cu 10.6, Ge 8.9, Zn 8.1, In 2.7 per cent. Produced by thermal oxidation of a by-product alloy from the zinc rectification circuit, drossed deliberately to make it amenable to hydrometallurgy.
Measured at this deposit
Germanium reports to the dross from a New Jersey zinc rectification process at 8.9 per cent — one to two orders of magnitude above the 0.01 to 0.60 per cent the same source gives for zinc plant residues generally, and far above anything an ore carries.
