Known metadata gaps

Recorded explicitly rather than guessed.

  • Table 2-1, from which Lithoen takes the size and grade of five named deposits, is a compilation: its own Reference column attributes each row to other authors — Naldrett (2004) for Noril'sk-Talnakh and Voisey's Bay, Zhang and others (2010) and Chai and Naldrett (1992) for Jinchuan, Barnes and others (2001) and Hanski and others (1990) for Pechenga, Maier and others (2010) and Duchesne and others (2004) for Kabanga. Those publications are not in the corpus, so derivedFromSourceIds cannot name them and the lineage is carried in the evidence statements instead. Two figures taken from this table are therefore not two independent observations.
