What Lithoen records
Each claim states how it is known and cites its evidence.
EstablishedCellulose-based natural fibres such as flax, hemp, ramie, jute, kenaf and sisal.
Plant fibres are natural fibres whose main structural component is cellulose; flax, hemp and ramie are among those with the highest specific stiffness and strength, and which fibres are used depends strongly on regional availability, flax having been the focus in Europe and hemp, jute, ramie, kenaf and sisal in Asia.
