IOTA Standard quartz sand grade
Also known as IOTA-Std
A PRODUCER's product grade for high-purity quartz sand, tabulated element by element. It is recorded as a producer grade and not as a standard, however widely it is used: the review that reports it writes that these grades 'are considered international standards', which describes a market position rather than an issuing authority. Its aluminium figure of 14 mg/kg is the highest of the IOTA grades held here.

What Lithoen records
Each claim states how it is known and cites its evidence.
EstablishedIssuer class: PRODUCER. The Chinese photovoltaic reference tabulated alongside them is a national or industry programme, and every one of its thirteen figures is a ceiling, where the producer grades mix ceilings with typical reported values.
Reported for this deposit
The IOTA grades are a producer's product grades, not an industry standard. The source that tabulates them writes that they are considered international standards and nearly monopolise the international market — which describes a market position, not an issuing authority, and this corpus records the two separately.
